I honestly freak out about this and my son just got his first cell phone at 14…he was the absolute last kid last school.
When I watched him with his friends and their phones last night, I realized all of the social interaction that he was missing out on. Something else to feel guilty about, I guess!
This is so so helpful. And perfectly timed because Santa is bringing my kids iPads for Christmas! They've had crappy Kindle tablets for a few years and I admit, I sort of loved that they were so hard to use they almost never asked for them but... it's time for an upgrade, for a variety of reasons (mainly centered on making my life easier). This helps me work through my anxiety that we are wrapping up heroin for them, and you know I love the analogy to eating sugar!
