Would love to hear about how teach kids to actually have conversations about difficult/controversial issues. I'm so worried about how reductive discourse seems to be heading around queerness, reproductive health, the climate and Gaza to name a few. I feel like so much energy is spent on "winning" arguments or performance rhetoric but I think thats more about taking the easy way and looking good than doing anything difficult and meaningful.
I’m so excited about this! I have 2 boys, 5 and 2, and I have had all the thoughts you mentioned in the newsletter. But the biggest thing that gives me strength and comfort is having a community that supports each other during these times. I can’t wait to read this
