Yes: Father’s Day is next weekend. Right smack dab in the midst of the end-of-school-year craziness, at least here on the East coast. So here are some last-minute gift ideas! A few of these items are things I own myself, while others are recommendations I’ve collected from men I know and trust. Some are affiliate links, too. Enjoy!

A donation in their honor to the National Network of Abortion Funds. Help the men in your life support reproductive choice. And/or The Trevor Project, to support LGBTQ+ youth.
My new book Hello, Cruel World! $30. You knew I was going to include my new book here. But seriously, it would make a wonderful Father’s Day gift. What dad doesn’t want to raise their kids to have the key skills they’ll need to thrive in this complex world? You can even order a personalized copy from Split Rock Books — just include a note saying what you’d like the dedication to say.
The Cometeer Discovery Box. $59. A friend of mine introduced me to Cometeer coffee a few months ago and I was blown away. They are small frozen concentrated coffee capsules; all you do is pour boiling water over them and BOOM, you have a delicious cup of coffee. You can also buy a Cometeer gift card.
Shiatsu back, shoulder and neck massager. $49.99. I have owned this for years and I use it almost every night. It’s easily maneuverable and realllllly loosens muscle knots. I don’t think I could live without it.
The Yeti Rambler beer can insulator. $25. I bought this for my ex a few years ago and he used it allllllllll the time. It keeps beer cans so cold. Perfect for summer!
For birders, the beautiful book Birding to Change the World by Trish O’Kane.
The Ember 2 self-heating mug. $105. OK, a self-heating mug is luxurious and yes, this is kinda pricey, but who doesn’t want an always perfectly warm cup of coffee?
Koetze mixed nuts. $20.95. I bought these nuts for my dad for Christmas, and ate half of them a few myself, and I can say they are ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. They also sell nuts in a glass container with a tie, which is adorable.
This retro green banker’s desk lamp. $39.99. Great for nightstands too. I am obsessed.

A few years ago I got my husband a big mug from Shutterfly with 3 pictures of him and our daughter. It’s still his favorite mug despite the fact that it has to be hand-washed.
I have gotten my husband a puzzle that is a collage of pictures of the kids from Shutterfly, a book about Star Wars called The Rise & Fall of the Empire from Bookshop (we just finished watching Andor & then a bunch of the movies & I saw the book recommended for folks who really liked Andor) & a new handmade wallet through Etsy (this may not arrive in time but then I’ll give it to him for his birthday which is next month)
